Guided Questions -
Studies have found that students using guided questions show marked improvements in their ability to develop content and maintain coherence in descriptive and recount texts.
For example, in a science classroom, a standard question might be: "What is the chemical formula for water?" (Recall). A guided question would be: "Considering the electron configuration of oxygen and hydrogen, why do we end up with the formula H₂O instead of HO?" (Analysis/Synthesis). guided questions
