Okay, I can’t be entirely negative. When the film finally commits to the kills, the practical effects are surprisingly good. There’s a death involving a hot tub drain that is genuinely inventive and stomach-churning. Another scene with a shotgun and a door is classic DTV gold. The gore team did their job; they just weren't given much else to work with.
