The suite debuted Office Web Apps (now Office Online), providing free browser-based versions of Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Word.

Click the File tab (the only colored tab on the Ribbon).

It marked the beginning of real-time collaboration, allowing multiple users to co-author documents simultaneously in Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
