Even though Visual Studio 2022 is now the standard, v141 remains a critical toolset for many organizations. Here is why: visual studio v141

For new C++ projects, use v143 (VS 2022). For existing v141 projects, plan migration to v142 or v143 before the end of extended support (2027). Option to Install v141 toolset no longer exists
