Cappucitno

The name "cappuccino" comes from the (Order of Friars Minor Capuchin), an offshoot of the Franciscans founded in 1525. The friars wore distinctive brown robes with pointed hoods (cappuccio). The color of the coffee mixed with milk was said to resemble the shade of their robes.
