The title "Garmi" (Heat) is metaphorically perfect for the show. It represents the searing heat of the Indian heartland, but more importantly, it represents the volatility of youth. The protagonist represents the "garmi" of blood—the impulsiveness, the aggression, and the burning desire to prove oneself.

The series does not shy away from violence, but it uses it to show the cost of power. Every victory for Arvind comes at the cost of a piece of his humanity.
