The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been largely supplanted by mutated insect-hybrids. Our protagonist is Miki, a tough, no-nonsense survivor who navigates the ruins of civilization. She isn’t looking for a prince; she’s looking for her sister. What she finds instead is a towering, armored creature who she names "Kuro" (or simply "Roach" in some translations).
