Originally released in 1999, Hunter: The Reckoning was the sixth major game in the World of Darkness series. Unlike the vampires or werewolves of other lines, players portray —accountants, teachers, or ex-cons—who are granted "Second Sight" to see the monsters hiding among humanity.
In the original, Edges were often clunky or underpowered. HtR20 revamps them into three tiers (**Clever, Resilient, The Hunters’ Codex: A full 100+ pages dedicated to the monsters of the WoD as the Imbued understand them—through rumor, trauma, and broken mirrors. This is brilliant because the mechanics for vampires, werewolves, etc., are not here (you need V20 or W20 for that), but the perspective is.
