Seasons: For The Southern Hemisphere

As the weeks went by, the Sun continued to rise higher in the sky. The days grew longer and warmer, and the Southern Hemisphere entered its summer season. January and February were the hottest months, with temperatures often soaring above 35 degrees Celsius (95°F).

As summer gave way to autumn, the air began to cool once more. The leaves on the trees turned golden and crimson, and the scent of woodsmoke returned. The days grew shorter, and the nights grew cooler. Emily enjoyed the mild weather, taking long walks through the park and appreciating the vibrant colors of the changing leaves.

Because of this axial tilt, the and equinoxes are opposite to those in the north.
