This is where Little Friends falls short for many fans.
The most significant addition is the inclusion of cats. Unlike Nintendogs , which only added felines in the 3DS sequel, Little Friends lets you own up to three pets at once from a total pool of twelve. However, cats are notably less interactive; they cannot be walked or entered into competitions.
