Alafasy Age

Alafasy is arguably the first Qari to achieve "superstar" status specifically through the internet age. Before him, famous recitors (like Abdul Basit Abdus Samad) were famous through cassette tapes or radio. Alafasy rose to prominence alongside platforms like YouTube and MP3 sharing.

Alafasy gained global recognition for his clear, melodic, and emotionally resonant recitation style. He completed his formal Quranic education at the Islamic University of Madinah, where he graduated from the Faculty of Quranic Studies. In addition to his recitations, he produces Islamic nasheeds without musical instruments and leads prayers at the Grand Mosque of Kuwait (Masjid Al Kabir). alafasy age
