Pre-Installation Checklist Before starting the installation, make sure you have:
A valid MicroStrategy 10.11 license file. A compatible operating system (Windows Server 2012 or later, or Linux). A supported database management system (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or IBM DB2). Sufficient disk space (at least 10 GB). A user account with administrative privileges.
Step 1: Prepare the Environment (10-15 minutes)
Create a new directory : Create a new directory for MicroStrategy 10.11, e.g., C:\MicroStrategy\10.11 . Extract the installation files : Extract the downloaded MicroStrategy 10.11 installation files to the new directory. Configure the environment variables : microstrategy 10.11 installation guide

Step 2: Install MicroStrategy 10.11 (30-40 minutes)
Run the installer : Navigate to the extracted installation files and run the setup.exe (or setup.sh on Linux). Select the installation type : Choose the installation type: Sufficient disk space (at least 10 GB)
Full Installation : Installs all MicroStrategy components ( recommended). Custom Installation : Allows you to select specific components.
Enter the license information : Enter the license file information and confirm the agreement. Configure the database connection :
Select the database management system. Enter the database connection details (e.g., server name, database name, username, and password). Extract the installation files : Extract the downloaded
Configure the MicroStrategy services :
Set the MicroStrategy Intelligence Server service to start automatically. Configure the MicroStrategy Web service (if applicable).
