Catalog | Ibm Software Access
What is it? The IBM Software Access Catalog is the central portal where you view and manage software entitlements for products you have purchased from IBM (via Passport Advantage, FlexPoints, or subscription licenses). It replaces older entitlement views. Key purpose: See what software you own, download installers, get license keys, and assign access to users. How to Access

Important Notes
Not a trial store: The catalog only shows software your company already purchased. License compliance: Downloading does not grant usage rights. You must comply with your IBM contract (PVU, RVU, etc.). Entitlement delay: New purchases may take 24–48 hours to appear. Support access: The catalog does not provide support cases — use IBM Support . What is it
Troubleshooting | Problem | Likely solution | |---------|----------------| | Product missing | Wait 48 hours after purchase or check if contract expired. | | “No download button” | Your account may lack download permission (ask catalog admin). | | License key generation fails | Ensure product version is supported (some old versions require legacy portal). | | Can’t see user access tab | You are not a catalog admin for that product group. | Alternative for legacy products For very old products (pre-2016) or if you cannot find them in the new catalog, try:
IBM Passport Advantage Online (still active for some legacy entitlements) IBM Fix Central (for patches only)
