The film was originally released in Japan on April 20, 2002, under the title Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi o Yobu Appare! Sengoku Daikassen (クレヨンしんちゃん 嵐を呼ぶ アッパレ! 戦国大合戦). However, the English-dubbed version released in India and other regions was retitled Bungle in the Jungle .
