Perhaps the firm's most iconic work, the Twist Mountain Chapel, exemplifies their approach to site-specific form. Located on a hillside, the chapel is not a traditional volume placed on the land, but a structure that emerges from it. The building is formed by bending a concrete strip, creating a loop that simultaneously serves as roof, wall, and floor.
