Do this before ordering glass. Measure in three places (top/middle/bottom). Use the smallest measurement. Subtract 1/8″ (3 mm) from each dimension for expansion gap. Measure thickness of the old IGU – typical is 5/8″ to 1″. Example: 24″ x 36″ opening → order 23-7/8″ x 35-7/8″.
