If you see the dreaded error message, "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it," you aren't out of luck. You just need to know how to slip past the bouncer.

Follow the same Device Manager steps as in Method 1. The system will no longer block unsigned drivers. If you see the dreaded error message, "Windows
