The Xbox 360 CE, also known as the Xbox 360 Core or Xbox 360 Arcade, but more specifically referred to as the Xbox 360 CE (Console Edition), is a video game console developed and marketed by Microsoft. It was first released on November 22, 2005, in the United States. The Xbox 360 CE was the successor to the original Xbox and was part of the seventh generation of gaming consoles, competing directly with Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii.
