In the 1940s, a toymaker and his wife lose their young daughter in a tragic accident. Decades later, they open their isolated farmhouse to a nun and several orphaned girls. One of the girls, a polio-stricken child named Janice, discovers a locked room – inside sits a seemingly innocent porcelain doll. She releases the doll, unknowingly unleashing a demonic entity that has been waiting for a vulnerable soul.

The film concludes with a chilling scene, showcasing the aftermath of the events that transpired at the convent.
