In the homebrew ecosystem, DLC is often distributed in two formats:

NSP stands for Nintendo eShop, which is the digital storefront for Nintendo consoles. NSP DLC refers to downloadable content (DLC) purchased and downloaded directly from the Nintendo eShop.

The DLC was released in from March 2022 to November 2023.

Each wave also introduced new playable characters (Birdo, Petey Piranha, Wiggler, Kamek, Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, Peachette).
