QR codes have become an ubiquitous technology, widely used in various industries for information exchange, payment, and authentication. However, the lack of standardization and security measures has raised concerns about interoperability, security, and trust. The QR Code Alliance Shield (QCA Shield) is a novel framework designed to address these challenges by providing a unified, secure, and interoperable QR code ecosystem. In this paper, we present the QCA Shield, its architecture, and its benefits, highlighting its potential to revolutionize the QR code landscape.
