The film takes place in a supermarket where all the food products believe that they are destined to be eaten by humans. The story follows Frank (voiced by Seth Rogen), a sausage who begins to question the purpose of his existence. Alongside his girlfriend Brenda (voiced by Kristen Wiig), a hot dog bun, Frank discovers the dark truth about their fate.
