You play as Zog, a small, green, vaguely reptilian creature who has fallen into a “nightmare”—a series of abstract, color-coded dream worlds. The manual (a rare PDF these days) explains that Zog must collect all the “Dream Crystals” in each level to wake up. That’s it. But the execution is where things get weird. zogs nightmare
