Do not plan long holidays during the "lecture period." Unlike other majors, medicine often has mandatory attendance ( Anwesenheitspflicht ) for anatomy, histology, and clinical skills during the official lecture period.

This is your actual vacation. After the last exam in February or July, you usually have 4–6 weeks off. However, note that the Zweittermin (second exam date for those who failed) often falls right in the middle of this "vacation." semesterkalender charite
