The C2503 is a 25-page-per-minute machine. The driver handles this admirably. Using the PCL6 driver, I have seen complex Excel spreadsheets with heavy graphics spool in under 5 seconds on a modern PC. The PostScript driver, however, is a different beast. It offers slightly better font rendering for graphic design work, but it is significantly slower. For 95% of office work, stick to the PCL6 version.
The standout feature of this driver is the "One Click Presets" tab. In an office that uses letterhead, plain paper, and envelopes, this feature is a lifesaver. I set up a preset for "Duplex Printing on Plain Paper" and another for "Single Sided Letterhead." This removed the need for users to navigate the complex paper source menus every time they printed.
