Printer tracks how much ink is absorbed in its internal waste ink pads. When the counter reaches a limit (usually ~7000–15000 pages), it locks up with a or error code (e.g., 0xF1 , 0xEB on PC). This is not a user-replaceable part on L3250 — but you can reset the counter and later manually clean/replace pads.
