Canon Mg6230 [work] — Driver

Elias was old school. He liked the weight of a camera in his hand, the click of the shutter, and most importantly, the tangible feel of a printed photograph. For the last five years, his partner in crime had been the Canon PIXMA MG6230. It was a sleek, black beast of a machine, all glossy finishes and quiet efficiency.

The MG6230 uses Canon's FINE (Full-Image N-jet Engineering) print head technology, which delivers high-quality prints with a maximum resolution of up to 9600 x 2400 dpi.

He watched the installation bar fill up. The driver was a small miracle of code. It told the printer how much ink to lay down, how fast to move the print head, and how to interpret the complex color profile of Elias’s raw photos. It was the invisible handshake that turned data into art.

A driver is a software program that allows your computer to communicate with the printer. Without the correct driver, your computer will not recognize the MG6230, or functionality like scanning and high-resolution printing will not work. Supported Operating Systems
