The Glory Season 2 Review ((better))

The long-awaited second part of Netflix’s The Glory doesn't just meet expectations; it bulldozes through them with a cold, calculated efficiency that mirrors its protagonist’s own 18-year plan. While Season 1 (Part 1) was about "building territory" and laying the groundwork, Season 2 is the endgame where every trap is sprung, and every bully is forced to "reap what they sow".

Director Ahn Gil-ho maintains the stark, atmospheric visual language established in Season 1. The use of light and shadow is particularly effective, often framing Dong-eun in darkness while the bullies exist in harsh, artificial brightness. The cinematography during the climax, involving a fierce snowstorm, is visually stunning and symbolic of the "bleak midwinter" the characters inhabit. the glory season 2 review
