Living with someone who has a more overt or sexual demeanor can be uncomfortable if you’re not on the same page about what’s appropriate in shared spaces. Below are some practical steps you can take to keep your living situation respectful, safe, and enjoyable for both of you.

In the realm of roommate relationships, harmony is often the ultimate goal. Sharing a living space with someone who challenges this ideal can be particularly trying. Unfortunately, my experience with my roommate Evie has been a prime example of this. Her overt displays of sensuality and sometimes questionable behavior have led to a complex situation that has tested our relationship to its limits.
