Rom Pack Mame

Arcade games ran on custom circuit boards with specific processors and sound chips. When those boards break or rot away, the game is lost forever. MAME works by mimicking (emulating) that original hardware in software. It tricks a classic arcade ROM into believing it is still running on its native circuit board.
