Luffy's Desperate Dash
463-466: Luffy uses Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's) to save Ace. The Admirals (Akainu, Aokiji, Kizaru) join the fight. 467-472: The Whitebeard Pirates make their final push. Luffy gets help from Ivankov and Jinbe. 473-476: Key moments: Whitebeard is stabbed by his subordinate Squard. Luffy reaches the scaffold but is confronted by the three Admirals.
The Rescue & The Tragedy
477-478: Mr. 3 creates a key, and Ace is freed. The emotional reunion between Luffy and Ace. 479-480: The turning point. Akainu kills Ace (Episode 480). This is one of the most famous and heartbreaking moments in anime. 481-483: Luffy's breakdown. Jinbe carries him to safety. Whitebeard delivers his final speech and dies standing.
The Aftermath
