In the finale, Secret of the Omnitrix , Ben accidentally sets the watch to self-destruct mode. To save himself and the universe, he must find the creator of the watch, Azmuth . After a massive battle against Vilgax's forces, Ben unlocks the "Master Control," allowing him to switch aliens at will without timing out, and defeats Vilgax. The summer ends, and Ben takes the watch off, finally ready to be a normal kid again.
