: Open the app. It will automatically detect your speaker. If an update is available (such as version 7.6.0 ), an "Update" button or a red dot will appear below the speaker's image.

Go to Settings (gear icon) > Speaker Version or Firmware Update . If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions. Keep the speaker charged above 50% and don’t close the app during the process. update jbl charge 3

: Once your speaker has restarted, you can check the version of the firmware in the JBL Connect App to ensure it has been updated successfully. : Open the app
