Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) is a critical tool for managing user accounts, groups, computers, and organizational units in an Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) environment. With the deprecation of classic administrative tools from the base OS, Windows 11 administrators must explicitly enable RSAT: ADUC.
On Windows 7, installing ADUC required a separate downloadable MSI installer. On Windows 10, it became an Optional Feature. In Windows 11, the integration is deeper but more opaque.
